Colt CZ Defence Solutions signed a memorandum of cooperation with Explosia
Prague (March 19, 2026) – Colt CZ Defence Solutions and Explosia have signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at developing collaboration in the supply of products and services supporting the defense and security of the Czech Republic. The memorandum was signed today in Pardubice by the management of both companies.
The memorandum focuses primarily on expert cooperation in the testing and certification of new types of ammunition, as well as modification of existing ammunition for the needs of the Czech Armed Forces and NATO partners. The collaboration will also cover joint research and development activities in the areas of energetic materials, ammunition, and weapon systems, contributing to the enhancement of operational capabilities of the Czech Armed Forces and NATO allies. In addition, the cooperation will include the implementation of relevant NATO standards, technical norms, certifications, technical specifications, and standardization documents in this field.

The memorandum further expresses the interest of both companies to cooperate in manufacturing and system integration in the areas of energy materials, ammunition, and weapon systems in line with the requirements of the Czech Armed Forces. At the same time, it declares a shared interest in monitoring technological trends in energetic materials, weapons, and ammunition, contributing to the technological development of both companies and to strengthening the capabilities of the Czech Armed Forces and NATO Allies.
